SAMAEL – The dream-comes-true makers!

SAMAEL – Повелителите на мечтите! | SAMAEL - The dream-comes-true makers!

So we did it!

It’s been more than 6 years since we saw them at their memorable comeback show at Summer Breeze 2002 and from that day on we have always dreamed about bringing them to Bulgaria. And it couldn’t be anything else. Everyone who has seen them live just knows about the ‘Samael’-disease, with the only cure is more SAMAEL.

And we did it well. Sofia’s SAMAEL show turned out to be one of the very few metal concerts in Bulgaria that everybody was completely happy with.

To put it briefly – SAMAEL is a band that everybody loves…
If there were still any angry or hesitant fans around due to the bands disruption with its ‘true’ past and not being ‘true metal’ any more, then any grumbles passed away once they got on stage. Then all that reigns is only the purest essence of metal, presented in the most fascinating, enchanting, classy and powerful way.

No more blabbering about the concert as my colleagues from the press and media spoke volumes of positive words about it and the message boards are full of posts expressing delight and admiration.
I would simply say that Samael are a brilliant example of people who are equally great artists and deserving men. Polite but moderate, close but distant, extreme but elegant, they left something to remember with everybody during their short stay in Sofia, pure class!

A lot of people were thankful to us for what happened and we want to thank everybody that helped to make this happen: perfect supporting bands, KEEP OF KALESSIN and NOCTIFERIA, our media partners, and all the friends.

Special thanks goes to metal bar Black Lodge, which kindly hosted the after show party. Sadly it was a little bit too short as the tour bus had to leave at 2 am for the next stop in Thessalonica.

MY SOUNDWe saw and heard one of the greatest metal bands ever! I mean it! Living machines on stage but so down to earth and nice people when aside. S A M A E L – this is the way their name should be written. A band with unique personality, not afraid to experiment, intelligent people who have something important to say and know the best way to do it – with a musical slap in the face, which you’ll never forget but also with a farewell hug, so that you should know that the pleasure was mutual.’
