Therion – Lesson in Magic part 1
Published: November 27, 2010, (We are waiting for the first comment)
Place: Jubileina Hall, Sofia
Support: Loch Vostok, Leprous
They came in Sofia and put us under their spell more heavily as we have ever expected.
And all of us were there: witches, warlocks, masters, servants, 10-year old wise-men, 60-year young kids, singing as one, melting down in this hellish cauldron, and crying for more…
We had the great chance to see them in one of the best line ups ever:
Maestro Johnson – the one and only, who blessed the marriage of metal and symphony forever
Christian Vidal – the fire guitar hero who burned the emotions on stage beyond the limits
Johan Koleberg – the furious drummer adding to the whole bombastic sound in a unique way
Waldemar Sorychta – one of the greatest musicians and producers of our time showing us about the perfection
AND
the superb 4-piece: Thomas Vikström, Snowy Shaw, Lori Lewis and Katarina Lilja
equal to 400-member choir, which made us feel like not on this earth.
Thank you for the music!
…to be continued
Most of Evil deeply apology to all the fans about the inconveniences they may had resulting from moving the show to another venue. As always we tried to make it in the best possible way facing the negative circumstances and standing against difficult choices. We only may hope that it was well worth the physical discomfort for having a show with such a good vibe from the audience, the phenomenal performance from the artists and the really great sound.
