About THERION:
This is a band whose name should be always written with capital letters and an exclamation mark behind! Their story represents a separate key chapter in the history of the extreme music scene. Starting in 1987 with a background in death metal later they went through impressive stages of growth creating their own emanation of heavy, gothic and imposing symphony metal. But in difference to other bands rather misusing the ‘opera’ and ‘classic’ formulas in order to make their style more popular and catchy with THERION those elements have been developed in a way no one else had done before blossoming out in an unique style making hundreds of thousands devoted fans around the world.
Today they work in their own league, acting with scope and professionalism, going far beyond the level of an ordinary metal band, which is most evidently demonstrated exactly in their live performances.
With 22 albums so far and more than 22 years of history behind here come THERION, at the height of their powers to present their latest album at one of the most long awaited concerts at Bulgarian live music scene.
